Coming off of a super positively charged weekend filled with inspiration and confirmations, I was thinking of music and perspective. Often when musical genres are mentioned, an association is generally linked. Structure and taxonomic process are necessary, but when we get stuck in things having to look a certain way and not allow for other ways of approaching, I think it’s the genesis of many an issue and the nemesis of growth. I believe we were created different so that we can bring our unique expressions and perspectives to enriching, empowering and overcoming difficulties. I share this video with you for a few reasons. I think good music is just good music and it doesn’t matter what a person’s culture, ethnicity, etc. Many prejudices are abound and in relation to this pandemic, many persons of Asian descent are being targeted and blamed. We work better together with being informed as well as collaborating for good. This clip I think is the embodiment of beautiful perspective and collaborative Awesomeness💙
