I relate to this passage and overall phrasing but not so much the complete verbiage. I do think missteps, made within an ongoing process is good. What many may seem like “Failure” I would push back on that. Failure implies that success wasn’t accomplished. Even if the overall goal wasn’t achieved if something was gleaned from it, can it really be a failure? Actualized success within its full capacity or, meeting one’s goals as they were set could be a success but, many people I’ve known, including some experiences from my own life, have had moments where they’ve reached the designated goal and still felt empty, unfulfilled. So, redefining the way we view things and even how we communicate these things is important. I do believe the unfinished product can be goo and lead to other ideas and creative opportunities. But I don’t know I feel comfortable saying that it’s an outright failure.
