Some of you know I have a love for Bonsai and Bamboo, not because of the Karate Kid, but because of their simplistic beauty. There are many different colors and sizes.The sizes of bamboo can differ but they all do share this characteristic: they can take up to 5 years to break through the ground. But, once it does break through, it grows quickly, up to 90 feet tall in 5 weeks!! 🎍 All Chinese names (according to Wikipedia) for bamboo contain the character “竹”. This character, pronounced zhu depicts two leafed twigs of bamboo. Many of us are going through something. And some of us are going through some Things. Holding onto the Character we want to become and tightening the character we have cultivated allows for us to be in the best possible position when our growth season emerges. Hold on! Be mindful things can’t be in a holding pattern forever. Focus on progress. And eventually the buds will break forth. Be Well. Do Well. Live Well 💜🎍
