Mindful Monday: Focus

  • by

When my inner vision is blurry, it sets the tone for uncertainty in my life and, I don’t like it at all! It’s like all manner of monkeys jumping on the bed๐Ÿ’ and clog dancers in my head all at once!! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿพ I suppose we all like a certain amount of certainty but, have you ever dealt with something and realized it needed more attending to? That to me can be annoying, “… we dealt with this…let’s move forward!” There are some things that need to be revised, revisited so that it can be fully reconciled for better healing and ongoing success. This last week I’ve been sorting through and the temptation to allow the frustration be the focus and not the solution was often present. Practice doesn’t make perfect but it leads to permanent choices, behaviors and habits. I allowed myself to be open, be vulnerable and not just numb it or shut it down, a prior Practice I’ve applied previously – say that 10 times! Now, I focus more step by step: What is happening, why is this happening, what am I to learn from this? Because there are healthier practices in place, it made this process more bearable. Not awesome or easy, but bearable. And after a week, the inner vision and my focus is clearer. The how of it is unclear but the why and what is very clear. Donโ€™t give up and Invest in yourself, even when the path seems blurry. We have the choice to choose better and then focus, putting in place practices that align with the outcomes we desire. Live Well. Do Well. Be Well๐Ÿ’œ
