Mindful Monday: Life Shifts

Life shifts can sometimes feel like 💩 (and that’s not chocolate😉) but if we’re open to the lessons short and long-term, we may be flowing into better outcomes. A year ago I was shifting from a dual program into completing my bachelor’s, (a 20-year journey on its own), dealing with internal demons in confronting some things that were tied to the math class I was taking in order to graduate, going into an accelerated M.Ed program and still healing from a surgery that happened earlier that year. It seemed like a lot, and at times it was a lot but, it felt like it was worth it. With good supports in my life and a good amount of stubborn/resilience/persistence, take your pick, it has been and continues to come together. Don’t let the difficulties do you in. Take a breath. One step at a time. Get away from toxic thoughts, people and situations. Get around uplifting people and engaging situations. Shift and flow towards your better💜
