This is my absolute most favorite, bestestest season (yup, that was on purpose!), Spring a close 2nd, where there’s a special beauty specific to the northeastern part of America. Beautiful brisk walks with friends or by myself, reading by the lake, cranking the crockpot for yummy soups and apple anything! Love it! Autumn in all of its beauty does signify a “fall” of sorts: temperatures like the leaves moving downward and decreased duration of light to name a couple. It makes me think how many times have we “fallen,” gone from a higher to lower point and weren’t able to see the beauty in the downward spiral until much later? Sometimes we can’t control the downward trajectory but, there’s something to be gleaned from it and depending on the perspective, perhaps at some point, the beauty of it may even be seen. Be-Leaf me, (😉☺️) letting go and turning over a new leaf can mean one thing dies but it also means another thing can be birthed💜
