Work doesn’t have to be drudgery, but there is usually some labor involved. According to Wikipedia, “Labor Day in the U.S.A. is a public holiday celebrated on the 1st Monday in September. It honors the American labor movement and the power of collective action by laborers, who are essential for the workings of society. It is the Monday of the long weekend known as Labor Day Weekend. Frederick Douglass stated, “Without struggle there is no progress.” Let’s make sure our labors are in line with the progress we’re intending and the laborers with us are aligned with the desired outcome.💜
